- The animal are imported from Eastern Europe
- The animals are forcibly crammed into designated containers hours before takeoff and stay there, wallowing in their own feces, until they are loaded onto trucks and transported (sometimes a couple of hours away) to the quarantine areas
- The entire process might last over 24 hours, and is being supervised by a single point who can control the entire process.
