בעלי חיים הם לא סחורה!
עשרות פעילי "ישראל נגד משלוחים חיים" השתתפו אמש במיצג מחאה בטיילת ת"א במסגרת היום הבינלאומי נגד משלוחים חיים.
במיצג קראנו להפסקה מוחלטת למשלוחים החיים. בכל העולם התקיימו מיצגים ומחאות להביע את התנגדות הציבור לפרקטיקה האכזרית שנקראת "משלוחים חיים". מליוני בעלי חיים משונעים מדי שנה מקצה עולם ועד קצהו בתנאים מחרידים למטרות פיטום ושחיטה.
מתחילת השנה הובלו לישראל באוניות 344,347 עגלים וטלאים בייסורים והתעללות מאוסטרליה ומאירופה, במסע של 3 ימים עד 3 שבועות. וזה רק במסע הימי שנוסף למספר יממות שהובלו במשאיות לפני כן עד הנמל. כל שבוע מגיעות לישראל 2-3 אוניות ועל כל אחת אלפי בעלי חיים חסרי ישע. זורקים לים את אלו שמתים וקורסים. הפרקטיקה הזו היא כתם על מדינתנו. בעלי חיים הם לא סחורה! כאשר תיעודים שלנו מישראל משמשים בבתי משפט ובפרלמנטים ברחבי העולם נגד המשלוחים החיים, זה סימן שבכוחות מאוחדים נוכל לעצור את המשלוחים החיים!

Animals are not a commodity! Dozens of activists from Israel against Live Shipments participated in a protest demonstration at the Tel Aviv promenade as part of the international day against live shipments. In the street show, we called for a complete halt to live transports. On the same day, exhibitions and protests were held all over the world to express public opposition to the cruel practice of live transports. Millions of animals are transported each year from one end of the world to the other under appalling conditions in order to be fattened and slaughtered upon arrival. Since the beginning of the year, 344,347 calves and lambs have been transported to Israel from Australia and Europe by ship, suffering agony and abuse on journeys that last from 3 days to 3 weeks. And this is only the maritime voyage, without counting the number of days they were transported to the ports in trucks. Every week, 2-3 ships arrive in Israel, each with thousands of helpless animals. They throw those who collapse straight in the sea. This practice shames our country. Animals are not a commodity! When our documentation from Israel is produced in evidence in courts and parliaments around the world, it is a sign that united forces can stop the live transports!
