עיצומים במשרד החקלאות

השבוע הכריז ועד העובדים במשרד החקלאות כי הוא פותח בעיצומים בשל הפרטה מתוכננת במשרד.

בין יתר הצעדים, מתכוונים במשרד שלא "לפרוק" אניות משלוחים חיים, ובכך להשאיר את העגלים והטלאים בצפיפות הנוראית, לרוב ללא אויר נקי, כאשר הם מצויים ברעש מטורף וסטרס ובקושי מגיעים לאוכל ומים.

אניות שהגיעו מאז הכרזת העיצומים, נפרקו בעיכוב ארוך של 16 ואף 17 שעות.

אנשים רבים בינהם, בעלי החיים משלמים את המחיר.

This week, the Veterinarian services which are managed by the Minister of Agriculture, announced that it was opening a strike because of the planned privatization of those services. Among other measures, the vet services stated it intends not to "offload" live animal ships, leaving the calves and lambs in terrible overcrowding, usually without clean air, when they are noisy and stressful and barely reach food or water.
